You get a planning projection; the report creates no replenishment transaction.
Who can do this
You need access to Available Forecasted Stock Report and underlying stock/order/production visibility.
Before you start
Confirm company, locations, item, horizon, on-hand/available baseline, reservations, orders, requisitions, production, and units.
Before saving, check that the correct company is open and that you have permission to complete this task.
Where to find it
Back Office → Items & Advanced Inventory → Available Forecasted Stock Report.
Review Available Forecasted Stock
Step 1: Set item/location and forecast horizon
Step 2: Generate the report
Step 3: Confirm opening available quantity
Step 4: Review each dated supply/demand component included
Step 5: Recalculate projected balance and first shortage date
Step 6: Drill to unexpected source documents
Check your work
Opening plus included supply minus included demand reproduces sample projected balances.
Take a moment to check your work before closing the window. This small check can save time later.
If something goes wrong
- Check statuses and cutoff for stale orders.
- Do not treat projected stock as physically available.
