This guide will help you project an item's available stock over a selected horizon and identify future shortages or surpluses.

You get a planning projection; the report creates no replenishment transaction.

### Who can do this

You need access to Available Forecasted Stock Report and underlying stock/order/production visibility.

### Before you start

Confirm company, locations, item, horizon, on-hand/available baseline, reservations, orders, requisitions, production, and units.

#### Step 4: Review each dated supply/demand component included

#### Step 5: Recalculate projected balance and first shortage date

#### Step 6: Drill to unexpected source documents
