# Review the Items Report

### How to Review the Items Report in Muhasib ERP

### Overview

This guide will help you audit item master data and identify missing, inconsistent, duplicate, or inactive configurations.

You get an item-master quality exception list.

### Who can do this

You need access to Items Report and authorized item/cost field visibility.

### Before you start

Define company, item type, category, brand, active status, stock/non-stock, tax, unit, price, and account attributes to review.

Back Office → Items &amp; Advanced Inventory → Items Report.

### Review the Items Report

#### Step 1: Set item/category/brand/status filters

#### Step 2: Generate the report

#### Step 3: Review code/barcode, name, type, unit, category, brand, price, tax, stock

Review code/barcode, name, type, unit, category, brand, price, tax, stock controls, and accounts shown.

#### Step 4: Identify duplicates and missing defaults

#### Step 5: Open affected item masters

#### Step 6: Correct only through controlled item maintenance
