You get a transaction-level stock roll-forward.

You need access to Stock Ledger Report; cost/value visibility may require separate permission.

### Before you start

Know company, item, exact date range, locations, batch/serial, unit, expected opening/closing, and source documents.

### Review the Stock Ledger Report

#### Step 1: Select exact item, date, location, and stock identity

#### Step 2: Confirm opening quantity/value

#### Step 3: Review each purchase, sale, return, transfer, adjustment, and production movement

#### Step 4: Confirm sign and unit

#### Step 5: Recalculate running quantity/value

#### Step 6: Drill to exceptions and compare closing with Stock Report

### Check your work

Opening plus inflows minus outflows equals closing and agrees with Stock Report for the same scope.
