How to Create a Customer Group in Muhasib ERP
Overview
This guide will help you create a reusable customer classification.
The group becomes selectable on customers and may be mandatory when the company setting requires it.
Who can do this
You need access to Customer Groups and Customer Groups Add.
Before you start
Define a unique group name, purpose, and any associated policy outside the master.
Before saving, check that the correct company is open and that you have permission to complete this task.
Where to find it
Back Office → Sales & Customers → Customer Groups.
Create a Customer Group
Step 1: Choose New Record
Step 2: Enter the group name/short description
Step 3: Enter a useful long description
Step 4: Save
Step 5: Reopen the group from records
Check your work
Assign it to a disposable customer and confirm filters/reports use the intended label.
Take a moment to check your work before closing the window. This small check can save time later.
If something goes wrong
Search before creating a similar group.
Do not delete a group assigned to customers.
