How to Add Item Images in Muhasib ERP
Overview
This guide will help you add approved item images for POS/search and other enabled displays.
Enabled POS/item-search screens may show the image. Backup coverage depends on actual storage location.
Who can do this
You need access to Item Update and needed image feature.
Before you start
Prepare optimized, licensed images without customer data. Confirm allowed file types, dimensions, size, storage/backup policy, and whether multiple images are enabled.
Before saving, check that the correct company is open and that you have permission to complete this task.
Where to find it
Back Office → Items & Advanced Inventory → Manage Items → select item → image action.
Add Item Images
Step 1: Confirm the exact item
Step 2: Select the primary image
Step 3: When multiple images are licensed/configured, open Item Images and add
When multiple images are licensed/set up, open Item Images and add only required views.
Step 4: Set primary/order/caption fields where available
Step 5: Save
Step 6: Close and reopen item/POS search
Check your work
Confirm correct item association, clarity, aspect ratio, search performance, and backup/restore of image files.
Take a moment to check your work before closing the window. This small check can save time later.
If something goes wrong
- Remove/replace only after confirming which item is selected.
- Avoid network paths without tested availability and permissions.
